Sarah Soell is an OEC Fiber subscriber and has been an Oklahoma Electric Cooperative member for 16 years. She and her daughter Kerstin know firsthand that a quality internet connection can impact your quality of life.
Kerstin, who has Down syndrome, uses her iPad for various learning applications. Before OEC Fiber provided the Soell family with a fiber connection, slow internet caused a lag in the apps’ audio and graphics, leaving Kerstin frustrated, confused and unable to learn. The unreliable connection also made it difficult for the family to download the apps.
“It’s frustrating when downloads take forever, when things don’t work on your devices because of slow internet...with OEC Fiber, that is not the case,” Sarah said.
