Hi there,

Co-ops aren’t just bringing internet to rural Oklahoma when other companies won’t — they’re also providing faster speeds, so you can live your life without buffering or dropped connections.

CVEC Fiber, a fiber subsidiary of Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative, just announced a new 2.4 gigabyte fiber plan (upload and download speeds) for its members in Shawnee.

This places CVEC’s available upload and download speeds among the highest in the nation — and thanks to the co-op model, this super-fast internet is now available to the Shawnee area. CVEC members not in the Shawnee area can still obtain upload and download speeds up to 1 gigabyte for only $85/mo with the co-op’s fiber network.

CVEC Fiber is already getting a stronger than expected response to the 2.4 gig plan announcement, showing that Oklahomans want and need access to faster internet.

In a world where different family members are often using multiple devices in the same household, you don’t just need any internet connection. You need a fast, reliable internet connection that doesn’t stutter or stop.

Co-ops are going above and beyond to provide rural Oklahoma with those connections.
